Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka signs six-year deal

Martin Dúbravka has committed his long-term future to Newcastle with a new six-year contract.

The Slovakian, signed in January 2017, has become one of the Premier League’s most consistent goalkeepers during his time at St James’ Park.

Dúbravka has played 59 consecutive Premier League games for the Magpies, keeping 17 clean sheets.

“It is an amazing feeling,” the 30-year-old said to NUFC TV.

“I have to say that it feels like time has flown. It’s been almost two years and I’ve found great people here who I can call friends.

“I’ve enjoyed my time here and I’m very glad that I can stay here for another six years.”
