Newcastle fans clean up after huge party at Trafalgar Square before Carabao Cup final

Newcastle United fans have been filmed clearing up waste from Trafalgar Square after throwing a huge party ahead of the League Cup final against Manchester United.
Video footage emerged on Saturday night of the Toon Army mucking in just hours after leaving loads of debris strewn all over the streets.
The footage shows fans walking around carrying black bin bags while others help them to fill them up.

By the end of it there was not a single bit of rubbish left in sight.
According to users on social media, Premier League referee Michael Oliver was seen enjoying the celebrations, while the club's co-owners Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben were also in attendance.
The video has been viewed nearly 400,000 times in less than 24 hours but has been picked up by a number of other media outlets.

Their actions have attracted widespread praise from users online.
One said: "Good on them for cleaning up after themselves. More people should follow that example."
Another added: "That’s how it should be, well done NUFC supporters."
While a fourth commented: "Good on them. This is exactly the kind of thing that we need. Everyone having a mint time, then leaving the place as we found it."
Newcastle have not won a trophy for almost 60 years.
It's a fact that isn't lost on Eddie Howe who knows how much it means to the locals.
Speaking on Sky News, he said: "From the people that I meet around the city and any interactions I have with supporters, whether that's 6 o'clock in the morning outside the training ground or when I'm leaving.
"The passion here and the support for their team is truly incredible.
"So, I think the players know the responsibilities that they have, to be the best."
