Newcastle United have confirmed that defender Achraf Lazaar has left the club.
The 29-year-old has come to an agreement with the Magpies to mutually terminate his contract allowing him to leave St.James’ Park.

The Morocco international has been at Newcastle since 2016 but only ever made 10 appearances for the club.
Lazaar instead had a number of loan spells, including time at Benevento, Cosenza and Sheffield Wednesday.
