Newcastle United have confirmed the arrival of Dutch defender Sven Botman.
The 22-year-old arrives at St.James’ Park on a five-year-deal from Lille for a reported fee of around €37m plus add-ons.

Botman made 79 appearances in his two years for the Ligue 1 club since arriving from Ajax in July 2020, helping them win the title in his first season.
He is yet to make his international bow for the Netherlands.
The centre-back follows Nick Pope and Matt Targett through the arrivals door on Tyneside this summer.
