Newcastle United are close to making a change to their coaching setup with the addition of Graeme Jones.
The Magpies are struggling in the Premier League after failing to win in their past nine matches.
According to The Shields Gazette, Jones is a first team coach at Bournemouth, and is now in talks with Newcastle about a similar role.
Jones arriving is not said to have any impact on the future of Steve Bruce, as he would be someone to help Bruce and his other coaches.
Steve Agnew, Stephen Clemence, Steve Harper and Ben Dawson are the current assistant coaches at Newcastle.
