Newcastle United have received a fitness boost as four players are set to make the weekend clash with Fulham.

The Daily Mail says both Callum Wilson and Bruno Guimaraes are ready to declare themselves fit for the weekend, while Allan Saint-Maximin has a chance of making the bench.

Elliot Anderson has trained this week after withdrawing from the Scotland Under-21s squad with a hamstring complaint.

Jonjo Shelvey has also made quicker than expected progress in his recovery from a hamstring layoff and is nearing a return.

These returns offset against injuries to £60million club-record signing Alexander Isak, Chris Wood and Matt Ritchie.
