Liverpool continued their recent mini resurgence by beating Newcastle United 2-0.
First half goals from Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo saw the Reds make up crucial ground on their top four rivals.
Liverpool are now only seven points behind fourth-place Tottenham Hotspur with TWO games in hand.
It wasn't a vintage display by Jurgen Klopp's men against Newcastle, even though the hosts had goalkeeper Nick Pope sent off, but they got the job done on Tyneside - which is all that matters.
In terms of negatives for Liverpool, there weren't really many to speak of, although fans weren't best pleased with Martin Tyler's commentary on Sky Sports.

Liverpool fans will hope that Nunez is fit to play after he was taken off with a shoulder injury in the win over Newcastle.
Real Madrid have significant injury concerns of their own, though, more definitive ones as well.
