Brandon Servania is recovering from an ACL injury suffered last September, while Alonso Coello is dealing with a thigh injury and is on track to return early next month. The number one pick 2024 MLS SuperDraft, Tyrese Spicer, is also set to miss the match with a back injury.

Toronto FC predicted lineup vs New York Red Bulls (3-4-2-1): Johnson; Gomis, O'Neill, Rosted; Bernardeschi, Longstaff, Osorio, Laryea; Etienne Jr, Insigne; Owusu.

Although the matchup may be more balanced now that both teams are missing a few important figures, Red Bulls should still have enough quality in them to get the job done at home to kick-off their Leagues Cup campaign. The RBNY attack will prove to be too much for the Toronto defense as the hosts claim a narrow win to begin play in the summer tournament.
