New York Red Bulls defender Aaron Long is the subject of interest from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Former Mexico international Mariano Trujillo of Fox Deportes, tweeted the Bundesliga club ‘and a few other European teams’ will be bidding for the 26-year-old.

Long enjoyed a fine breakthrough season with Red Bulls, and could now follow Tim Ream and Matt Miazga in moving to Europe.

The centre-back was part of a defence that conceded the least number of goals in the regular MLS season.

After a solid season, Long has been called up to Gregg Berhalter’s first USMNT squad for the January camp.
