New York International FC Sign Former Panama International Romario Piggott | OneFootball

NEW YORK CITY, NY — New York International Football Club (NYIFC) is excited to announce the signing of free agent and former Panamanian international midfielder Romario Piggott for the 2024/2025 Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL) season.

The highly rated 29-year-old brings a wealth of experience from his international career with the Panama under 20s squad and professional stints with Charleston Battery FC, and other clubs across the Americas—including four US Open Cup caps. His arrival strengthens NYIFC’s squad as the club prepares for its inaugural season in the CSL’s First Division.

“We are excited to have a player of Romario’s caliber join our club. His experience and skill are an incredible asset for us as we push for promotion to the EPSL (Eastern Premier Soccer League),” said first-team manager, Nick Platt.
