Midfielder Luan Dias was announced as a new Suwon FC player earlier this week and says he is looking forward to getting going.
The Brazilian will have his first experience of playing overseas, coming from Água Santa, a club in São Paulo.
As well as Água Santa, Luan Dias has played in Brazil for teams such as Santos, Goiás, and Guarani. Luan Dias has since spoken about his arrival at Suwon FC and emphasised his happiness at the opportunity.
"I'm very happy with this opportunity in my career, to play football overseas, and I'm very excited. I'm going to work as hard as I can to adapt as quickly as possible to show my football and help Suwon FC achieve their goals."
Luan also spoke about his adaptation to the club, and to South Korea, and emphasised the help of everyone at the club. The midfielder also said that he hopes to help Suwon FC achieve their goals this season.
"Since I arrived, everyone at the club has helped me adapt to the club, the country, the new culture, and it's been very positive. I'm looking forward to being out on the pitch soon and being able to help my teammates so we can win and have a great season in the league and the Korea Cup."
With this signing, Suwon FC has successfully strengthened its midfield depth in the final stages of the transfer window. Luan will wear the number 97 jersey.
Over the course of his professional career, he has appeared in 155 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists. Known for his vision Luan excels in forward passing and precise set-piece deliveries, creating decisive goal-scoring opportunities.
With Luan's addition, Suwon FC plans to enhance its attack and the team's offensive tactics will become more versatile.
