New Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky could make his debut in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
The 21-year-old joined Spurs in a deal worth £12.5m from Slavia Prague last week.
He is available to play in Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool but boss Ange Postecoglou says he is still deciding whether to hand him his debut.
“We’ll see,” he said. “He arrived Sunday and he’s had a couple of days’ of training. He’s obviously registered to play.”
Despite being boosted by the arrival of Kinsky, Spurs will still be without several key players for the semi-final meeting, however.
James Maddison and Pape Sarr are suspended while Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison are still out.
“Net wise I still think we’re down,” Postecoglou said.
“Bentancur is back but we lose Maddison and Sarr. Mikey [Moore] potentially could be back on the bench. Everyone from the weekend certainly feels better. Radu (Dragusin) is better and Archie (Gray). Deki (Dejan Kulusevski) was a bit under the weather but he should be fine.”
Postecoglou is hoping to have Richarlison back involved soon though.
“With what happened before, the whole plan for him was to get a solid couple of weeks of training and next week should be his second week,” he said.
