One player has now given the green light to leave Chelsea and join a new club during this January transfer window we are currently in.

The month of January is always a more exciting one for transfer enthusiasts, even though we keep hearing that Chelsea are not going to be too busy in terms of arrivals. They do have a lot of potential outgoing deals that they might be looking to do, with the obvious names such as Ben Chilwell high on the list of potential departures from Stamford Bridge this month.

Casadei off out the Chelsea door already

Sky Italia, as relayed by TorinoGranata, have reported that Casadei has now given his approval to a move to the Serie A club.

Talks between the two clubs are scheduled to take place between Tuesday and Wednesday this week and Torino want to come close to Chelsea’s asking price.

As of now, there is a considerable amount of difference between them. Torino are offering a fee of €12m and a big future resale percentage, whereas the Blues want a fee of €20m and a buyback clause in the deal.

The next round of talks could bring the parties closer, with Casadei said to be Torino’s key target for the January transfer window.
