We have a round of international matches to feast on this evening and as ever, there will absolutely be some Chelsea involvement across the board.

Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill are expected to start for England who take on Greece in the Nations League, but there are others in action as well.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at versatile Bundesliga defender for potential pending move!

France are in action tonight as well against Israel in the Nations League, and they of course have both Wesley Fofana in Christopher Nkunku in the squad.

Fofana is unlikely to start this game, but Get French Football News are reporting that Nkunku is set to start the game.

Nkunku back in the French fold

After struggling with injuries last season, Nkunku is back and has been in fine form for Chelsea at the start of this new season, earning him a deserved recall to the French squad.

The attacker hasn’t featured for Les Bleus since joining Chelsea. However, he has now re-found his spot in Didier Deschamps’ plans.

The report claims that he is expected to start on the left, with Michael Olise playing in a No.10 role, and Ousmane Dembélé on the right.

This is their predicted lineup for France tonight, as based on by the latest news from L’Equipe:

Mike Maignan; Théo Hernandez, William Saliba, Ibrahima Konaté, Jules Koundé; Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni; Christopher Nkunku, Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembélé; Randal Kolo Muani. (L’Éq).

It’s a very strong squad of course, and even though I don’t love Nkunku on the left, at least he will be getting a chance to shine at international level once again.
