New Lazio Women signing Camilla Labate expressed her joy at joining the Biancocelesti in a post on her Instagram page earlier today.
The 21-year-old Italian defender previously played for Roma, Sassuolo and San Marino, and has been a fan of Lazio since she was a child. She chose the shirt number 71, in reference to Senad Lulic’s famous goal against Roma in the Coppa Italia final in 2013.

Labate commented on her new club in a post on her Instagram page, saying:

This is the fulfilment of the dream of a little girl who has never stopped believing and fighting to one day get to play for her favourite team.
