New deals for Adam Montgomery and Joey Dawson | OneFootball

Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce that Adam Montgomery and Joey Dawson have both signed new deals with the club, the two players having put pen to paper on one-year extensions with the Hoops.

Adam Montgomery has extended his stay at Celtic until June 2027. After initially breaking into the senior side in 2021, he has continued to progress during spells with the first-team and also out on loan.

The 21-year-old has made 20 first-team appearances for the Hoops, and has also gained valuable experienced whilst on temporary spells with a number of clubs, including St Johnstone and Aberdeen.

Having joined the club in the same summer of Montgomery’s breakthrough, Joey Dawson has been a consistent presence for the B team side, scoring a number of important goals, including a double at Paradise against Rangers in 2022.

The forward has also made his senior debut for the Bhoys, coming off the bench against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Boxing Day 2021. He has signed a one-year extension to June 2025.
