New Barcelona signing Joan García early this week made clear his commitment to the cause in Catalunya’s capital, ahead of the upcoming season.

This comes amid confirmation that the goalkeeper reported for an individual training session at Barca’s base on Tuesday.

Hansi Flick’s squad are not due back at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper until this coming Sunday. At this point, the Blaugrana will undergo medical tests and scans, before kickstarting pre-season training a day later.

Several members of the club’s first-team ranks have already been spotted in attendance at the club’s training ground over the last couple of weeks, eager to get a head start when it comes to recovering match sharpness.

And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, this group was added to by Barcelona’s new summer signing.
