Ashleigh Neville reached another milestone on Sunday afternoon as she made her 150th appearance for the Club in our 1-0 victory over Bristol City in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The defender, who made the move to Lilywhite in July, 2017, started the game at Ashton Gate and was part of the backline that secured back-to-back clean sheets in the WSL for the first time this season.
Making her 18th appearance of the campaign, Ashleigh has now played 117 league games (36 in the FA Women’s Championship and 81 in the WSL), 13 in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and 20 in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup.
The 30-year-old was part of the squad that secured promotion to England’s top division for the first time in 2019, where she featured in 19 games and scored on four occasions.
She has scored 16 goals for the Club so far, including once this season in our 4-2 victory over Aston Villa at Bescot Stadium.
