Lazio could soon have their own docu-series on Netflix, as the most popular streaming service worldwide is reportedly interested in telling the club’s story.

Netflix to Dedicate a Series for Lazio

According to Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the famous American streaming service could soon launch a multi-season series dedicated to the history of the Biancocelesti, from the club’s foundation in 1900 all the way to the modern era. This series won’t only focus on Lazio’s triumphs on the pitch, but also on the club’s elusive fanbase – with several legendary figures to appear on the series.

The Legends Who Will Tell Lazio’s Story

First on the list is Giuseppe Signori who remains one of the club’s deadliest strikers throughout its history. Miroslav Klose, who represented Lazio between 2011 and 2016, is also tipped to show up, with the producers banking in on his global fame. Last but not least, the report also mentions Paolo Di Canio – a Lazio youth product who returned to don the Biancocelesti jersey late in his playing career.

Tribute to Sven-Goran Eriksson?

The Aquile supporters would also expect a fitting tribute for the club’s most successful manager of all time, Sven-Goran Eriksson, who sadly passed away last August, at some point during the series.
