If you’ve ever seen the 2004/05 fly-on-the-wall documentary about Neil Warnock during his days at Sheffield United, you’ll know all about his potty mouth.

Warnock should have been in the game long enough by now to know that if there’s a camera around, there’s a good chance you’re being filmed.

But on Saturday, he got caught out.

Viewers of Cardiff City’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Canadian TV were treated to an unedited version of Warnock’s post-match interview, in which he can be heard making an insulting remark about Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.

“Match of the Day, will you tell Gary Lineker to fuck off,” Warnock can be heard saying in the footage.

“He calls me Colin. Can I say ‘it’s Colin here’,” he adds in reference to his famous nickname ‘Colin Wanker’, which is an anagram of Neil Warnock.

Most people would probably be embarrassed by a faux pas like this, but Neil Warnock is not most people.
