Tanguy Ndombele is determined to fight for his place at Tottenham this season, according to reports.
The Frenchman asked to leave Spurs during the summer transfer window after he was not selected during pre-season or for any of their five matches in August.
But after discussions with manager Nuno Espirito Santo and director Fabio Paratici, Ndombele has acknowledged he must work hard to return to the side, per the Evening Standard.
The 24-year-old endured a similar problem with former coach Jose Mourinho.
He eventually won over Mourinho and made 33 league appearances last season.
A return to the Spurs line-up for Ndombele could happen on Thursday against Rennes in the Europa Conference League.
Nuno will likely be without midfielders Oliver Skipp and Giovanni Lo Celso for the trip to France.
