Tanguy Ndombele admits Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy convinced him to stay over the summer.
The midfielder was linked with the likes of Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSG after a tough first season in England.
But he remains a Spurs player and told Canal+: "If I thought of leaving this summer with Inter's interest? I wondered if I should go or not. But anyway, the president told me he wanted to keep me.
"It's going pretty well this season, it's going well with the coach. Everyone has put their ego aside. There are things I didn't agree on, like the coach didn't agree on certain things.
"I made mistakes, but today it's going well."
