For this June international break, 21 professional and academy players joined their respective national teams. From the Nations League Final Four to the Euro Under-21s, here's the schedule for the Monegasques involved.
They’ve returned to their national teams at the end of a succesful season! After finishing third in Ligue 1 and directly qualifying for the Champions League for the second consecutive year, there are 21 Rouge et Blanc from the professional squad and the Academy to have joined their national team. So between the Nations League Final Four, the Under-21 Euros and 2026 World Cup qualifiers, here is the schedule for our international players. 📅
Among those called up, the vice-captain of AS Monaco, Thilo Kehrer, is preparing to make his comeback with the Nationalmannschaft. Having made 40 appearances in all competitions for the Rouge et Blanc this season, he will aim to help his team secure a ticket to the Nations League final against Portugal.
They will also arrive with the goal of going as far as possible at the U-21 Euros! There are three Monegasques – Christian Mawissa, Saïmon Bouabré and Soungoutou Magassa – on the squad list unveiled by Gérald Baticle, making the Rouge et Blanc the most represented club, along with FC Nantes.
As for the rest of the squad, Vanderson and the Seleçao, now led by Carlo Ancelotti, will continue their journey in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with matches against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Several players have joined their national teams to play friendly matches, including the Swiss duo Zakaria and Embolo, while Mika Biereth is again part of the Danish team after having made his debut in March.
