Crystal Palace have confirmed that Nathaniel Clyne has extended his stay with the club.

The former England international returned to Selhurst Park in summer 2020 after a five-year spell with Liverpool.

Clyne has now agreed a 12-month deal after becoming a regular fixture for the Eagles with 23 appearances in all competitions last season.

Palace also announced on Wednesday that fellow defender Nathan Ferguson will leave the club as a free agent this month.

The 23-year-old is one of three players to depart South London alongside Jaïro Riedewald and James Tomkins.
