Nathan Redmond on verge of leaving Southampton for Turkey | OneFootball

Southampton winger Nathan Redmond is set to depart for a move to Turkey, the Athletic report.

David Ornstein claims that three Turkish sides, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Besiktas have all made official offers for the 28-year-old’s services.

With the Süper Lig transfer window remaining open until Thursday, it gives teams in Turkey the opportunity to bring in reinforcements from elsewhere.

Although Everton, Bournemouth and Wolves all expressed an interest in Redmond last week, a domestic move failed to materialise before the Premier League transfer window closed.

Conversations between the Saints and all three Istanbul clubs are at an advanced stage and they will receive a fee for the winger, who has another year left on his contract at St Mary’s.

Besiktas are believed to be favourites to secure his signature, having already snapped up Dele Alli from Everton this summer.
