Wolves have made their first signing of the summer with the arrival of Republic of Ireland international Nathan Collins from Burnley.

According to the Telegraph and Express and Star, the final fee for Collins is £20.5m, which sees him become the most expensive Irish player of all time.

That amount means the 21-year-old marginally eclipses Robbie Keane’s £20m move from Tottenham to Liverpool in 2008.

Wolves had been tracking Collins for some time and were in the market for a new central defender after Romain Saïss’ move to Besiktas.
