Narrow win sees Nottingham Forest stay top of the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division, while seven-goal Wolves keep up the pressure.

Northern Premier Division

Liverpool Feds 0-0 Rugby Borough (Att: 102) Sporting Khalsa 0-1 Nottingham Forest Stoke City 3-0 Hull City (Att: 81) Stourbridge 2-7 Wolverhampton Wanderers Halifax 2-3 West Bromwich Albion

Nottingham Forest stayed top with the only goal at Sporting Khalsa scored by Katie Dungate in the 74th minute.

Amber Hughes and Charlotte Greengrass each hit a hat-trick for second-placed Wolves at Stourbridge but Wanderers’ Destiney Toussaint was sent-off in added time.

Stoke City’s 3-0 win over Hull City lifted them to fourth, the Potters’ goals scored by Olivia Cook, Shannon Stamps and Delphi Cole.

Rugby Borough dropped to fifth following their goalless draw at Liverpool Feds in sixth.

West Brom had a narrow 3-2 victory at basement side Halifax, their goals coming from Fran Orthodoxou, Rhianne Oakley and a Simran Jhamat penalty, while the home side stayed in the game with one each by Sienna Limbert and Meg Cardenas.

Southern Premier Division

Exeter City 1-1 Gwalia United (Att: 190) Plymouth Argyle 0-4 Watford (Att: 125)

Gwalia United got out off the relegation zone after drawing 1-1 away to Exeter City. Mollie Taylor hit a 30-yard half-volley into the net for the Grecians but Chloe Lloyd soon had the Welsh side level from the spot, giving new manager James Thomas a precious point.

Plymouth Argyle slipped into the bottom two, beaten 4-0 at home by Watford who climbed two places to fourth. Ellie Head, Jessie Gale Megan Chandler and Bianca Baptiste each found the net for the Hornets.

Division 1 Midlands

Barnsley Women 1-0 Solihull Moors

Laura Bartup made the breakthrough in the last 15 minutes, as mid-table Barnsley Women beat next-to-bottom Solihull Moors.

Division 1 South West

Maidenhead United 0-3 AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth are back up to second with a tenth straight win 3-0 at Maidenhead United, Katie James buried a free kick, Gemma McGuinness and Amber Treweek adding a goal apiece.
