Napoli forward Victor Osimhen could see himself joining Bayern Munich this summer, according to Sky Germany.
Bayern bosses are big fans of the Nigerian international and could pursue a transfer this summer. Osimhen and his management are aware of the interest from Bayern and the could see himself switching to the Bundesliga in the summer transfer window.
More talks are scheduled in the coming weeks. It’s all about the price and Tuchel’s visions for the club in the summer.
As reported by Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, he explained: “Osimhen wants and would switch to Bayern immediately. He’s in the mood for Munich. He was already in the Bundesliga and didn’t ignite at Wolfsburg, but the signs have changed.”
Bayern have confirmed that they are willing to spend around €100m on a striker in the summer, despite extending the contract of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The club will take their time in finding the right fit.
One possible candidate who is already playing in the Bundesliga is Randal Kolo Muani. Frankfurt bosses have informed Bayern that a fee of around €70m-€80m will not be enough, however. Sporting director Markus Krösche wants at least €100m plus bonuses. What’s more, Frankfurt are planning on keeping the 24-year-old forward even if they don’t get Champions League football next season.
In terms of Osimhen, a fee of €100m would fall on deaf ears. The soon-to-be Italian champions would want around €130m for the 24-year-old.
