Napoli star Matteo Politano is now set to reject Saudi Arabia to stay at the Partenopei this month.

Il Mattino have reported about the situation of the Italian, who has decided not to be swayed by a move to Al Shabab. The winger was offered €20 million over a three-year deal but yesterday, Politano sent the offer back to the sender. He did receive reassurances about a new deal with the Partenopei, but it is reported that he made the decision out of a keen liking for Napoli.

Politano’s agent Mario Giufreddi was in Riyadh recently and he did speak to club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis, who remains keen on handing the new deal. Talks had been in the pipeline for a while and it seems as if the player has made the decision. The new deal would see Politano stay at Napoli till the summer of 2028, with the player expected to earn an upgrade on the wages that he would earn at the club.
