Napoli face Sassuolo on Friday with the club’s dynamic duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen amongst the goals – unsurprisingly.

The two attackers have not shown any signs of slowing down, netting one each in the opening half-hour to take control of Stadio Città del Tricolore.

Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring with a brilliant solo drive and finish before Osimhen beat two Sassuolo defenders and scored from a tight angle for 2-0.

The goals bring with them some insane stats, too!

It means Napoli are the first side to have two players reach the 10+ goal mark in the league.

The Nigerian is now also the first club player to score in seven successive Serie A games in the three points for a win era (since 1994-95).

Gonzalo Higuaín previously held the record (six) during the 2015-2016 season.

Twenty-two-year-old Kvaratskhelia’s current Serie A tally is 10 goals and 11 assists in 19 games.

Then 24-year-old Osimhen’s is 18 goals and four assists.
