Napoli & Torino in contact for Boubakary Soumaré (Leicester) | OneFootball

L’Équipe have moved to confirm reports from Foot Mercato that Leicester City’s deep-lying midfielder Boubakary Soumaré is likely on the move this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has received approaches from Serie A outfits Torino and Napoli, who would both like to achieve a transaction via an initial loan with option or obligation to buy formula.

At Napoli, their newly-installed French coach Rudi Garcia is a major fan of the player. After having not been able to conclude a deal for ex-Lyon midfielder Lucas Tousart, who has joined Union Berlin, Garcia is now focused on the idea of a deal for Soumaré instead.

Soumaré is waiting for this interest to become more concrete before being able to make a decision on his future. Last summer, Leicester were open to selling the player but their €20m asking price served to put other suitors off.
