Elmas, who spent five years on the club’s books between 2019 and 2024, will return on a loan deal at a cost of €2m with an option to buy for an additional €16m. The Partenopei are now discussing the final details with RB Leipzig. This has been on the cards since August 14.

Napoli’s strategy for their wide players has also been confirmed: Alessandro Zanoli will hed to Udinese, while Pasquale Mazzocchi is set to stay at the Stadio Maradona under Antonio Conte.

After what has been a busy summer of incomings and outgoings in Naples, this could potentially be the end to Napoli’s dealings this summer, although with four days of the window left to go, nothing can ever be definitively ruled out.
