Napoli have now set an asking price on Lorenzo Insigne’s head and a lot of clubs are monitoring the contractual situation of the Italian.

La Repubblica have claimed that Insigne’s situation at Napoli is now increasingly uncertain and Aurelio de Laurentiis is ready to hold face-to-face talks with the club icon regarding a new deal, with the current one set to expire next summer. Insigne wants his agents to be present during the talks too.

There remains quite a bit of distance between the two parties, as De Laurentiis does not want to go beyond a four-year deal, the winger wants a bigger contract which he expects to be the last of his career.

The report claims that many clubs in Italy and abroad are now keeping an eye on this situation, with the Partenopei having put a price tag of €25 million on him.
