Matteo Moretto reports that Napoli are determined to extend Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract and will continue talks with the winger’s entourage in the coming weeks.
Serie A leaders Napoli are pushing to extend their contract with star winger Kvaratskhelia and have already scheduled meetings with the Georgian’s representatives.
Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto wrote in his latest DailyBriefing column that talks between the two parties started several months ago, but new meetings will take place in the coming weeks.
Kvara has had a great start to the season under Antonio Conte, grabbing three goals and two assists in six Serie A games.
Kvaratskhelia was in talks with PSG during the summer transfer window, but the club and Conte refused to sell the 23-year-old, who is contracted until June 2027 at the Stadio Maradona.
Napoli are determined to keep hold of the Georgia international and will continue talks with his entourage in the coming weeks.
