Napoli, AS Roma and West Ham United are all interested in Danilho Doekhi, according to Voetbal International. The Dutch defender has just experienced a super season with Union Berlin. He featured 25 times in the Bundesliga as Union finished in fourth place. The 25-year-old centre-back even scored five goals and provided two assists. His fantastic form has attracted interest from the Italian champions along with other top European clubs.

Doekhi made the switch from Vitesse to Union Berlin last summer. The former Ajax academy player was a regular starter in the Bundesliga and Europa League last season, as the club progressed to the round of 16 in the competition, beating Ajax along the way.

Napoli are set to lose their star centre-back Kim Min-Jae to Bayern Munich, so they’ve identified Danilho Doekhi as a suitable replacement. AS Roma and West Ham are also showing strong interest. Unlike Napoli and Union Berlin, Roma and West Ham will not be playing in next season’s Champions League, but they will be in the Europa League. This is likely to play a big part in the defender’s decision. However, no offer has been submitted to Union yet.
