Napoli are finally getting down to sales, as while Victor Osimhen accepts PSG, Everton ask for Jesper Lindstrom, with Stade Rennais beating Torino to Leo Ostigard.
The Partenopei must sell before they are able to bring in reinforcements for new coach Antonio Conte and that has proved tricky so far this summer.
According to Sky Sport Italia, that is at last starting to get moving with a series of proposals.
The most important is to sell Osimhen, which is why Napoli are prepared to negotiate lower than the €130m release clause, especially as they simply had not budgeted to pay the €10m per season salary when he signed the contract in December.
Multiple sources tonight from France and Italy claim the striker has agreed basic personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, so now they must strike a deal with Napoli.
In other news, Everton have intensified negotiations for winger Lindstrom, who was a total flop at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona following his €30m transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt a year ago.
It could be done on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Defender Ostigard is not in Conte’s plans and had been linked with Torino today, but now Stade Rennais have dived in and Sky Sport Italia claim they agreed a deal for €6m including add-ons.
That is below the €7m asking price, but close enough, and it is now up to the Norwegian to agree personal terms.
