Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz is interesting Barcelona.

Georginio Wijnaldum's decision to join PSG has given Barcelona the need to look elsewhere to reinforce their midfield.

Napoli's Ruiz is a key target.

Catalunya Radio reports it's true that the former Real Betis man has been on Barcelona's radar for some time.

The radio station says Barca are planning to formally speak with Napoli over Ruiz in the coming days.

The Italian side are not in the next Champions League but still want around €50m for Ruiz, a figure Barca can't get close to.

He's in the Spain Euro 2020 squad and Barca will be watching closely.
