Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur target Radu Dragusin is on Napoli’s radar ahead of January but the Serie A giants are wary of Genoa’s asking price for the defender.

The 21-year-old centre-back has been heavily linked with a move away from Genoa ahead of the winter transfer window.

Atalanta are pushing to sign him but he is also attracting major interest from the Premier League as well.

Tottenham, who are hunting another centre-back and intend to sign one next month, are big admirers of Dragusin, while Newcastle are also alive to his ability.

However, they could face competition as, according to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Mercato), Serie A giants Napoli also have their eyes on him.

The Italian champions want to bring in a centre-back in the winter window and are looking at several defenders.

Dragusin is one of the names on their shortlist of targets and the club are considering making a move for him.

However, Napoli are wary of Geona’s asking price of €25m and are not willing to pay such figures.
