Napoli interested in Hertha Berlin’s Lucas Tousart | OneFootball

Serie A champions Napoli are interested in the possibility of signing Hertha Berlin midfielder Lucas Tousart.

The Partenopei are likely to lose both Tanguy Ndombele and Diego Demme this summer, with the Frenchman returning to Tottenham from his loan spell and the German set to be sold.

Il Mattino state that Napoli will work to bolster the midfield and Tousart is someone who is liked by the club, amongst other names. He played under Rudi Garcia at Lyon and impressed in a surprising UEFA Champions League campaign during the lockdown era and is believed to have the right profile to play in a 4-3-3 system.

His current deal at Napoli runs out in two years, meaning that Hertha Berlin selling him this summer would pocket them the right amount of money from a sale.

Other midfielders liked by the Partenopei are Rodri Sanchez, Gabri Veiga, Teun Koopmeieners and Lazar Samardzic, with contact already having been made for some of the names.
