Napoli have stepped up their pursuit of Salernitana winger Pasquale Mazzocchi and have presented a new offer.
According to a report by Sky Italia, Napoli have presented league counterparts Salernitana with a new improved offer for securing the services of winger Pasquale Mazzocchi this January transfer window.
The new proposal is set at €2.5 million plus bonuses to the Salerno-based club after they asked the Partenopei to increase their offer for the player from the initial €1.5 million. The 28-year-old wants to leave his current side for Napoli and he has already made his decision known around his surroundings to pressure the Granata to accept the bid.
Mazzocchi would be arriving as a deputy for skipper Giovanni Di Lorenzo and things are set to progress soon as he has a three-and-half-year agreement in place with the Neapolitan side.
This is not the only area where Napoli are working as they are looking to accelerate negotiations on Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic front. A meeting is scheduled to take place within the next few days.
