He was the coach who ran Juventus closest in the Serie A title race but now Maurizio Sarri has committed the ultimate sin and joined the Old Lady.

Sarri’s Napoli side came within a few points of claiming the title two seasons ago and even went as far as beating Juve at their home stadium with just a couple games to go.

But a late campaign collapse saw the Turin side came up from behind and claim the Scudetto, leaving Napoli without a title in 30 years.

On Thursday though, Sarri was officially unveiled as the new Juventus coach – earning plenty of condemnation from the people of Naples.

The club however, have looked to put all that behind them and send their best wishes to the 50-a-day tactician.

Well, sort of.
