Napoli edge close to move for Reims midfielder Jens Cajuste | OneFootball

Napoli are making progress in their move for Reims midfielder Jens Cajuste and are edging close to signing the 23-year-old.

Marco Conterio has reported about the situation of the Swedish midfielder, stating that the Napoli scouting department led by Maurizio Micheli and Leonardo Mantovani is close to finalising the arrival of Cajuste.

Rudi Garcia knows Cajuste well, being French himself and having managed in France in the recent past. He has given the green light for the move to go through and it now progressing in a positive way. Napoli were working on their move for Cajuste for sometime in a discreet manner and it could now lead to fruition this summer.

The Partenopei seem to be a fan of the fact that Cajuste is active in the attacking and defensive phase in the midfield, with the club having lost Tanguy Ndombele and Piotr Zielinski also being linked heavily with a move to Saudi Arabia.
