Napoli coach Spalletti makes fresh taunt at Spartak Moscow
Tribal Football
Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has taken fresh aim at Spartak Moscow after this week's Europa League clash.
After the 2-1 win, Spalletti refused to shake hands with opposition coach Rui Vitoria, then the Spartak social media team repeatedly insulted both club and tactician.
“I spent time in Russia, there are people there who are really professional and behave well," said Spalletti, a former Zenit St Petersburg coach, during his press conference.
“There are some professional clubs who know how to be in European football, then there's Spartak who feel they can do anything they want. They are different to the others.
“If a coach doesn't shake my hand and welcome me to his stadium before the game, that is insulting. Yet everyone is blaming me."
