This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire for the 1st day of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off at 8:45 pm, broadcast on Ligue1+). After this Friday's training, on the eve of the match, the club provided an update on the absences.

"The medical update for this Saturday, August 16, concerns Presnel Kimpembe and Senny Mayulu. - Affected by a minor virus, Presnel Kimpembe is resting. - Senny Mayulu is working on recovery."

As a reminder, João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) is suspended.
