FC Nantes have rejected a €15 million offer including bonuses from Inter Milan for Nathan Zézé (19), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Ligue 1 side are believed to want closer to €20 million for the defender who has also picked up interest from the Premier League.
Inter have been keen to try and persuade Nantes to part ways with Zézé this summer, and the player is suspected to be prioritising a move to the Serie A club. However, Foot Mercato writes that Inter’s movements could help mobilise English clubs to try and secure the highly promising defender.
Last season was a breakthrough for Zézé with the Nantes academy product making the step up to the first team. The centre-back was picked consistently in the second half of the season, as he formed a partnership with Jean-Charles Castelletto (29) to help one of France’s most prestigious clubs avoid what would have been only their third-ever relegation from the top flight.
