Two important players have been left out by FC Nantes as they prepare to host AS Monaco on Friday night.

Ignatius Ganago is edging closer to a move to the MLS with New England Revolution and as a result of his impending departure, he won’t play any part against Les Monégasques. The same goes for Alban Lafont. The Frenchman has been ostracised since Anthony Lopes arrived at the club and he has no future at Nantes. Whilst he is not nearing a move away as things stand, with suitors yet to present themselves, he will be kept away from the first-team set-up with a view to offloading the goalkeeper this January.
