Nantes full-back Sébastien Corchia turns down Saint-Étienne

As reported by RMC, Nantes’ 31-year-old right-back Sébastien Corchia has turned down the chance to join Saint-Étienne this month.

After a busy start to the month following the signings of Sada Thioub and Paul Bernardoni, Les Verts enquired about Corchia’s situation at FCN but the one time Lille, Sevilla and Benfica defender turned down the chance to move to ASSE and will finish the season with his current club with his contract expiring in summer 2023.

Pascal Dupraz’s side are also looking to add Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta’s but the 24-year-old’s move to Saint-Étienne has been blocked by a contractual situation.
