OGC Nice 1-2 FC Nantes : Les Canaris win on Antoine Kombouaré's return as Nantes manager

Antoine Kombouaré's renewed tenure with Nantes began in positive fashion, as Les Canaris raced into the one goal lead via a bullet header from Mathias Abline, assisted by a superb cross from Kelvin Almian (18').

Nice would have to wait until the second half to get back into the game via a penalty, which was given by VAR after Evan Guessand was fouled in the box. Terem Moffi stepped up to convert from the spot for Les Aiglons (70').

Nantes would then retake the lead through Mustafa Mohamed via a penalty which was given only a couple of minutes later for a foul on Abline in the box (76') – the Egyptian striker struck home with as Nantes went on to get their first win under their new (old) boss, and a first since February. The win means Les Canaris gain some distance from the relegation zone.

Clermont 0-3 Toulouse: Les Violets hold onto 11th spot with dominant win

Toulouse raced to a three goal-lead in a dominant win against bottom side Clermont to hold their spot in mid-table in Ligue 1. Les Violets took the lead through a penalty after Thijs Dallinga was fouled inside the box, with captain Vincent Seirro stepping up to convert for the away side (8').

It took until the second half for Toulouse to grab their second, this time on the break with Thijs Dallinga coming in with a late run and a first time finish which fools Ndiaye (76'). A poor Clermont side would concede another, this time Gboho fed a ball into the feet of Sierro, who sent a right-footed shot past a helpless Ndiaye.

Le Havre 0-2 Montpellier: Der Zakarian's side move further to safety win win over Le Havre

In what was a big game at the bottom of the Ligue 1 table, Montpellier came out winners thanks to a late flurry of goals at Stade de la Océane. After a fairly even stalemate between the two sides, it was Montpellier who made the breakthrough thanks to Jordan Ferri, who managed to poke home after a Mincarelli cross, following some good work by Al-Taamari (71').

The Southerners then doubled their lead via their central defender Jullien, who weaved inside the box, lost his marker, and fired home past Desmas (80'). As Montpellier took great steps to secure their safety, Le Havre's loss puts them right back in trouble as they sit only one point above Lorient in 16th.
