Nancy in talks to sign West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott

Nancy are in talks to sign West Ham United goalkeeper Nathan Trott.

The Daily Mail says Trott is poised to join Nancy on a season-long loan.

Highly-rated England youth international Trott is set for a move to France to continue his development with former Barnsley manager Daniel Stendel's side.

Trott, 22, viewed as one of the most promising emerging English stoppers, impressed while on loan at AFC Wimbledon during the 2019-20 season.

He spent last year back at the London Stadium as part of David Moyes's group of first-team goalkeepers.

That meant his senior game time was limited though West Ham have agreed to let him leave temporarily for the forthcoming season allowing Trott to secure regular football in France's second tier.
