Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann praised his side’s togetherness following their DFB-Pokal victory on Wednesday.
Bayern thrashed Viktoria Köln 5-0 with five different players getting amongst the goals, much to the delight of the German manager.
“The team has very good energy, real togetherness, even though there’s lots of competition in the ranks,” said the 35-year-old.
“I think Viktoria did well in the early stages of the game. Despite that, we controlled the game and had the necessary patience. If you score early, a game like that is easier to handle.
“We took a relatively long time to get going and then scored two beautiful goals before the break. That was important.”
Bayern Munich return to Bundesliga action on Saturday as they travel to Union Berlin.
